In the construction industry, we always look forward to celebrating the Construction Safety Week every year. After engaging in hundreds of building projects, with thousands of construction workers, bringing their A-game and staying top of risk management, we were excited to again clink glasses in celebration of Construction Safety Week 2022.
Construction Safety Week 2022 was the best time to celebrate by recognizing everyone who played their part in keeping safe, building awareness for job site safety, and inspiring everyone to remember that we are all responsible for keeping the safety culture.
The Construction Safety Week which begun in 2014 with more than 40 national and global construction firms, comprising the Construction Industry Safety Initiative (CISI) group and the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) forums has now evolved to become a global celebration all over the world.
Safety is both a value and an obligation in the construction industry. Whether at home, in the office, or onsite, the goal is to get the job done safely. It is therefore safe to opine that safety and construction are entwined.
Here at Rosettee, safety is both a bond and a belief. A bond shared by the owners, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors; everyone on the construction project.
This year, we again committed to stay connected by building upon one another’s strength; show support for fellow construction workers by having each other’s backs in every possible way, and to keep safe by providing the equipment and resources needed to ensure our workers can do their best work and return home safely every day.
Over the years, our building projects have yielded a high safety performance. In the last four years, we have maintained a record of zero fatality (FAT) and Loss Time Injury (LTI). We also have zero record of Total Recorded Incident Rate (TRIR) and Loss Time Injury Rate (LTIR). This is because we have ensured that the level of compliance, risk exposure, adherence to safety culture is consistently being improved upon.
At Rosettee, we take risk management as a serious responsibility. The aim is to prevent fatal occurrences by all means, thereby promoting safer communities, safer work sites, safer workers and of course, safer buildings.
Ours is an industry united in safety. Beyond Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Trainings and Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), our desire is to build safe durable structures that can stand the test of time. We therefore again affirm to unite to stay connected, supportive and safe as we build your dreams with you.
